Friday

Friday was a LONG day of traveling. When Aloha went out of business, we had to reschedule our flight. Good thing. We got to move the flight BACK. Headed to airport to be there at 8ish. Checked in and learned a new (to us) trick. Hawaiian agent told us that if you're among the first to check-in, you can ask for the exit row, make sure it's one that reclines. So we got exit rows at Lihue and then did the same at Honolulu.
Nice to have good books to read for the trip. That's a 5-hour flight. Luckily, they still feed you on that one. Add a few snacks and it's survivable. Obnoxious girls sat behind us, but at least we had lots of space.
I'm working on getting photos figured out and MAYBE I can even insert photos into the blog. Lifelong learning.
